Terms and privacy

The plain-English version of how we work. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain.

Free previews

We sometimes build a free preview of a website for a local business, using public details like its name, opening hours, address and phone number. A preview is free, there's no obligation, it's hidden from search engines, and it clearly says it isn't the business's official site. If it's your business and you'd like it taken down, tell us and we'll remove it straight away.

What you get

Your package (Starter or Standard) and any add-ons, as described on our pricing. Two rounds of changes are included while we build your site.

Payment

• There's no deposit. You pay the full price once you've seen your finished site and you're happy with it, before it goes live on your domain.
• You can pay by bank transfer, PayID or PayPal. Prices are in Australian dollars.
• We're not registered for GST, so no GST is charged.

Changes after launch

You get 2 free small changes in the 30 days after your site goes live, like new text, photos, hours or prices. After that, small changes are $20 each. Bigger work, like new pages or a redesign, is quoted before we start.

Your domain and hosting

• Your domain (for example yourbusiness.com.au) is registered in your name, and you pay its yearly fee to the domain company, usually about $15 to $25 a year.
• We host your site for free on a reliable hosting service. If we ever stop hosting it, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and all of your site's files.

Ownership

Once you've paid, your website and its content are yours. We'll give you the site files whenever you ask. We may show your site in our portfolio, unless you tell us not to.

Your content

When you send us photos, logos or text, you're confirming you're allowed to use them. If you don't have photos yet, we can use placeholders or suitable free stock images.

If something's not right

Because you only pay after approving your finished site, we don't offer refunds after launch. But if something we built doesn't work as described, we'll fix it for free.

Privacy

We only use your details to talk to you about your website. We never sell or share them. If you'd like us to delete your details, or stop contacting you, just ask and we will.
